Host a drop-in. Set the vibe.
If you know a great spot and like introducing people, you'd make a great host. We handle vetting, payments, and promotion — you bring the room.
What hosting looks like
- Pick a venue you love, a date, and a vibe (dinner, drinks, activity).
- We auto-match 8–16 vetted guests to your table.
- You greet them at the door and keep the conversation moving. That's it.
- Each event takes ~3 hours including setup and post-event group chat.
What you get
- 50% of net ticket revenue per event.
- Free admission to other ClipyEvents in your city.
- First look at new venue partnerships.
- A small, hand-picked Slack community of other hosts.
What we're looking for
Hosts tend to be excellent conversationalists who can read a room. You don't need to be a professional anything — you just need to genuinely enjoy meeting people and be reliable.
- 21+ (or local drinking age).
- Lives in or regularly hosts in a city we operate in (NYC, Toronto, LA, Chicago, SF, Montreal — adding more).
- References from people who'd vouch for your judgment.
- Comfortable on a short video call for vetting.
