Privacy Policy

ClipyEvents takes your privacy seriously because we have to — dating data is the most sensitive data there is. This policy describes what we collect, why, and how to control it.
What we collect
- Account & profile data — name, email, phone, age, height, gender, interests, photo, optional bio.
- Event data — which events you RSVP'd to, which you attended, payment records.
- Vetting data — short video call notes (text only, video is not stored beyond 30 days).
- Product analytics — page views and clicks, via Mixpanel, LogRocket, and Google Analytics. We do not sell this data.
What we don't do
- We never sell your data.
- We never share your photo or bio outside of events you've opted into.
- We never let other guests see your phone, email, or last name.
- We do not run ad targeting on your profile data.
Third parties we use
- Firebase Auth & Firestore — account + event database (Google).
- Stripe — payments only. Stripe never receives your event preferences.
- Mixpanel + LogRocket — product analytics.
- WhatsApp Business — group invites for approved guests only.
Your rights
At any time you can:
- Export all your data — email privacy@clipyevents.com.
- Delete your account and all associated data within 30 days.
- Opt out of marketing emails from any email you receive.
Cookies
We use a single first-party cookie to keep you logged in, plus the analytics cookies above. No third-party advertising cookies.
